Nothing gets the movie world buzzing quite like the Oscars, or the Academy Awards to the altruists. Ever year since the first Oscar was awarded back in 1929, the world has gathered around to anxiously await the announcements. hoping that their favourite pictures have won any awards.

The 2019 Academy awards were no different. This year, as with many, there were a great many discussions around the ‘Best Picture’ award. The great debate was which of the two films, ‘Black Panther’ or ‘Roma’ deserved the golden statuette. As it turned out neither would come home a winner that night, as ‘Green Book’ walked away with the award.
